Beck set the stage ablaze with incredible live versions of “For Your Love”, “Beck’s Bolero”, “Cause We’ve Ended As Lovers”, “Big Block”, “Over Under Sideways Down”, “A Day In The Life”, “Blue Wind”, and more. Of course, these were Jeff Beck‘s followers, many of whom had seen him live throughout the various phases of his classic rock career, from the Yardbirds to the days of the Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewart, out on the Jan Hammer Highway and into the future with Beck’s 2016 album, Loud Hailer. At one point during their performance of “Blue Wind,” Beck pointed playfully toward Hammer, who took the cue and revved up the synth. The tribute to Prince with 'Purple Rain' is easily up there with Prince's own remarkable guitar prowess, so honours his memory well.

This album is a bit different from his previous live stuff in that he revisits not just his solo back catalogue but the stuff he did with The Yardbirds, and the Jeff Beck group featuring Rod Stewart. But little did u know I would again years later see him in Concerts and leading up to his 50th Anniversary.
