The beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO headphones have established themselves as a firm favourite amongst music producers, sound engineers and broadcasters and are used in studios all over the world. They reproduce the entire frequency range with incredible precision, and even reproduce low frequencies in punchy detail. For decades now, professional users all around the world have placed their trust in our classic range: DT 770/880/990 PRO. These benchmark-setting studio headphones, available in three different models, boast extremely detailed resolution and very transparent sound.

The PRO models (DT 770 PRO, DT 880 PRO, DT 990 PRO) are designed for professional applications, e.g. in the recording studio. The Edition models are suitable for use at home on the stereo system. Prices valid in stores (all including VAT) until close of business on 1st November 2023. (Some of these web prices are cheaper than in-store, so please mention that you've seen these offers online.) Bought them from Guitar Center and the receipt from says they're new, so I guess I'll have to trust that. They don't seem worn.Through all this - AT NO TIME could I read a short (or even a high resistance) between the Left and Right pins of the 1/4" plug. For (live) mixing in loud environments, closed headphones are usually used. From our portfolio, the DT 770 M, the DT 770 PRO, the DT 700 PRO X and the DT 1770 PRO are suitable. However, they're not playing stereo sound. Left and right channels are heard at the same volume in both ears. I've tried with several sources to the same result. I can set my source to 100% left or 100% right and I still hear it equally in both ears.

The cushion system allows the DT 770 PRO to be used comfortably for long periods of time.I still don't know what or why - but after an hilarious amount of pain, it turned out to be the adaptor ...Oh, and my meter is now reading 88.8 ohms for each driver (in case you care) First things first, this is not a set of “muddy” headphones, or whatever words people like to use when describing sound they don’t like. You have to power it correctly. If you know that your computer or phone can handle it, the DT 770 PRO can handle pretty much anything you throw at it, but you need to know that they have a very strong emphasis in the highest notes which can get a little grating after a while. This simply means that the emphasis in anything that goes through them tends to favor the highest notes over all else. Lows, mids, and highs

Hey there! I've been lurking here for a while, and recently needed a headphone upgrade. Following the advice of users here as well as what I've found out from my own research, I decided upon the Beyerdynamic DT770 (250ohm version). They just arrived a day ago, and so far so good. Probably some of the comfiest headphones I've ever worn. Currently, these are unamped. My amp should be delivered tomorrow, and I will give it a try and see if this resolves its self. Could this be the cause? From what I've read around here and other places, this shouldn't cause any damage either. For mixing and mastering in the studio, open headphones are often used because of the better spatial representation. Our portfolio includes the DT 880 PRO, the DT 990 PRO, the DT 900 PRO X and the DT 1990 PRO. How well does the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO block out noise?

For decades our PRO headphones have been the reference for professional sound in recording studios all over the world. That leaves only one question: Which headphones are the right ones for you? The corresponding models of both product families PRO and Edition are hardly distinguishable in terms of sound, as long as they have the same impedance (e.g. DT 880 Edition / 250 Ohm and DT 880 PRO / 250 Ohm sound the same).
